Philoxenia literally means love of strangers; it means eagerness to show hospitality. It was a sacred institution in ancient Greece protected by Zeus himself. Foreign guests were considered honoured and respected people. In this programme we are hosting a fellow porn film festival to give us a selection of their local films. This year to celebrate 10 years of PopPorn we are hosting 14 Brazilian films from their decade of sexy fun and joy curated by Tino Monetti.

PopPorn is a multicultural and multimedia brand focused on human sexuality and sex-positivity, from São Paulo/Brazil, since 2011. We do a porn film festival since 2011, a sex-positive party since 2016 and other events, content and programs that use sex as a resource or language and have sexuality as their main theme. Our mission is to bring together ideas, artworks, activities and people around sexuality, moving across the boundaries of the sex, pop culture and contemporary art. We offer a safe environment and platform to build and investigate alternative discourses to old, conservative and sexist concepts of pornography.
