Smila Ring is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice centers around photography and movement. With a background in dance, she explores the body as both subject and language, often capturing the fluidity and vulnerability of different forms through nude, mostly black-and-white imagery. After several years in Berlin, she relocated to Athens, where the energy and aesthetics of the queer techno scene continue to deeply influence her visual and conceptual work which comes to life in her photography prints.
