London, today. A refugee washes up naked in a suitcase on the bank of the Thames. The enigmatic, sexually fluid stranger introduces himself to a bourgeois, upper class family. He is invited to stay on as an employee. The Visitor soon seduces each member of the family in a series of explicit sexual encounters. He will turn their world upside down as they are able to redefine themselves in new, radical ways. (CINEMA ONLY)

Bruce LaBruce is a filmmaker, photographer, writer, and artist based in Toronto but working internationally. Along with a number of short films, he has written and directed fourteen feature films, including “Gerontophilia,”, which won the Grand Prix at the Festival du Nouveau Cinema in Montreal in 2013. As a photographer he has had numerous gallery shows around the world, including a photo exhibit called “Obscenity” at La Fresh Gallery in Madrid which caused a national ruckus in Spain. His feature film “L.A. Zombie” premiered in competition at the Locarno film festival in 2010 and was subsequently banned in Australia. His second last movie, “Saint-Narcisse,” was named one of the top ten films of 2021 by John Waters in Artforum.

Ο Bruce LaBruce είναι σκηνοθέτης, φωτογράφος, συγγραφέας και καλλιτέχνης με έδρα το Τορόντο αλλά εργάζεται διεθνώς. Μαζί με μια σειρά από ταινίες μικρού μήκους, έχει γράψει και σκηνοθετήσει δεκατέσσερις μεγάλου μήκους ταινίες, συμπεριλαμβανομένης της «Gerontophilia», η οποία κέρδισε το Grand Prix στο Festival du Nouveau Cinema στο Μόντρεαλ το 2013. Festival Director’s Note: Bruce LaBruce’s film “The Raspberry Reich” (2004) is his favorite film and the main reason he got involved in art porn. It is also, one of the central events that led to start of porn film festivals in Europe, starting with the Berlin Porn Film Festival.

They will never be forgotten, as we feel their flames burning ever so brightly again, and remind the fuckers of our collective strength… our unwavering resilience, and that we can no longer be silenced as we rise up.
